From Interview to Offer: Writing a Winning Follow-Up 电子邮件

The Checklist of 电子邮件 Etiquette

Dos 和 Don’ts of Sending a Follow-up 电子邮件

The way we write is an extension of our personality, 和 when talking with a prospective employer, 你要确保你一直以最好的方式展示自己. 

DO: 

• Follow-up within 24 hours of an interview. 保持语气友好，信息简洁，一定要感谢他们的时间. If you are sending additional information, such as links 和 references, 花点时间确保你发送的东西处于原始状态, 没有错别字, broken links or formatting issues.

• Clean up your social media. Be sure your online presence is cleaned up 和 appropriate; interviewers don’t want to stumble upon your personal blog 和 photos on social media that could be construed as inappropriate or problematic.

别: 

• Send jokes, memes, GIFs, or emojis—它们太随意，在这种场合可能会被认为是不合适的. Even if the interviewer seemed like they’d enjoy your humor, 后续邮件的目的是展示你作为一名员工的价值. It is not an audition for friendship.
